It's apparently lost on people that these are preliminary investigatory records. At a certain phase of the investigation, government agents apparently identified 10 people who could be considered possible "co-conspirators" of Epstein. But as the investigation proceeded, none were ultimately charged, with the exception of Maxwell. Some of these potential "co-conspirators" were Epstein's female employees, the same people who'd been previously named in the 2008 Non-Prosecution Agreement. Not anyone high-profile or scandalizing. Others, apparently including Leslie Wexner, were more high-profile. Either way, the government ultimately determined there were insufficient grounds to prosecute these people. Reasons for this could include: insufficient evidence of culpability in crimes. But that explanation is always excluded in these fever-pitched assumptions. Much more exciting to assume every little tidbit of information implies a "coverup" of epic proportions. More pedestrian explanations would not be as politically useful, or go viral on social media.
