The system is expected to track into the Bay of Biscay. Where some guidance takes the centre of the system into the English Channel. They may possibly send it's strongest winds into the Western France. This is where rapid intensification must also be mentioned as a likelihood. The uncertainty here is if the centre also moves over France. These trends will be monitored closely. As ,northern Portugal, northern Spain and southern UK should also monitor the progress of this system very closely. Near term: Azores will be impacting by gusty winds from the wind field along the cold front. Gale force gusts are expected here along with the risk of some coastal flooding. This risk will quickly subside once the low clears the Islands. INT ... 55 KTS ... 65 MPH
