There's been a small but significant update today. The image thumbnailer, used to render avatars and icons throughout the site, has been completely rewritten to be more efficient and to handle error conditions more gracefully. This change involves a lot of stuff that might be cached in your browser, so it's doubly important this time to close any open rooms and re-enter them. We also fixed some bugs around message edits and deletes. Replies to those messages should have their excerpts correctly reflect changes made. the giant inflatable watermelon has been postponed to the next release As always, be sure to exit and re-enter any rooms you have open to make the changes take effect!
