A prayer for Elon Musk in his battle with addictions: As a person who is 3+ years sober, I understand how hard it is to stay that way in a world that advertises and glorifies drug and alcohol abuse. I hope and pray that Elon Musk gets the help and support he needs to beat his demons, get safe and sober/clean and live the best life he can with his dreams achieved, continuing business successes and a life full of love from his friends and family. Politics aside, it would break my heart as a recovering alcoholic to look on social media and see that he has passed on because of some horrible addictions. His recovery story could be the handbook/motivation for other addicts trying to get out of the certain Hell that is addictions. His legacy of being a tech titan would be dwarfed by the legacy of those he saved by being the prime example that those with heavy addictions can beat them and live longer, happier, healthier, fuller lives.
