ENTERING THE DREAMTIME Daily Astrology Thurs 22nd Oct The Moon is in Pisces. The final sign of the zodiac, the old soul who has seen everything. A day to channel the wisdom of the universe, knowing that the universe is just one thing that we are part of. On the literal level of matter, there may be an infinity of universes - of dreamings - but it is still all one thing. Across the world, early peoples understood the world to be a dreaming, that bodied forth their rich mythologies. What we call Evolution is in reality a playful, fecund dreaming into being of new species. This world seems so literal and compelling, but Moon in Pisces understands its true nature. So take a break today and tomorrow. We are in the short period every month when we get a break from the Truman Show, from the Hologram, the Matrix. These memes are modern, left brain attempts to reach after the ancient experience of the dreaming. Death is no big deal: it is a dream coming to an end. The dream is not something we can control. There's no point trying to save the world. It is ludicrous to protest about other people's conflicts 2000 miles away, about which you know nothing. You only think you do. Live sub specie aeternitatis. Step outside the beliefs that entrance the human herd, especially those that seem 'progressive'. The dreaming is behind the presiding mythologies of a culture, that create tradition. Sink into those old mythologies, Christian, Pagan, ancient Greek. Wherever it is that you naturally come to rest and feel you have arrived home. It is in these products of the mythopoeic imagination, rather than the complex theories of science, or the political ideologies of our time, that we are closest to what is real. Creation stories that treat the world as sacred.
