People take negative emotion too far. Yes, anger can wake you up. You can look at your life, feel sick of repeating the same patterns, and decide, “I’m changing this.” That feeling can launch the whole journey. But then you let it go. Some people think they have to stay angry to stay driven. They keep replaying everything they hate about their life, as if feeling miserable proves they’re serious about improving it. No. That’s how you burn out your circuits. Negative emotion is the ignition. It gets you moving. Once you’re moving, switch to gratitude and joy. Be grateful that you saw the problem. Be excited that you can do something about it. Notice every bit of progress and let that give you energy for the next step. You don’t need to hate your life every morning to work hard on making it better. Make the decision, take action, and build a life you actually enjoy living.
