MEN... HAS AN INTIMATE PARTNER EVER SLAPPED, MANIPULATED, OR DEGRADED YOU?? LET YOUR VOICES BE HEARD! ATTENTION MEN (18+): I am conducting research as part of the requirements for a Ph.D. degree in the Department of Criminal Justice at Liberty University. The purpose of my research is to better understand non-physical intimate partner violence experienced by male victims and how gender role conflict and perceived barriers to help-seeking influence underreporting. To participate, you must be male, 18 years of age or older, and self-identify as having experienced emotional, psychological, financial, sexual, or physical abuse in an intimate relationship. Participants will be asked to complete an anonymous online survey, which includes the Revised Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS2), Gender Role Conflict Scale (GRCS), and Perceived Barriers to Help-Seeking Scale (PBHSS), and should take about 15–20 minutes to complete. Participation is completely anonymous, and no personal identifying information will be collected.
