Someone willing to risk upsetting you, risk being misunderstood, and risk the relationship because they genuinely want the best for you. Most people will tell you what keeps things comfortable. A real friend tells you what helps you grow. We all need someone who refuses to enable our weaknesses, challenges us to raise our standards, and pushes us to become everything we’re capable of becoming. Don’t resent that person.
