It’s always laughable when people automatically call a $50,000 phone call a scam. If that one conversation helps you make—or save—millions of dollars, then $50,000 was an incredible investment. Price alone doesn’t determine whether something is a scam. The real questions are: Was the value represented honestly? Did the person deliver what they promised? Did the buyer make an informed decision? Did the call create a meaningful result? Not every expensive call is worth the money. But something isn’t a scam merely because you can’t understand paying that much for it. At a certain level of business, one insight, one introduction, or one strategic decision can be worth millions. People who have never operated at that level often judge the price without understanding the leverage.
