Capricorn likes to conform, and it is a good day for making your peace with that. Human collectives have their norms about how you 'ought' to be: they always have had, and they serve a purpose. You may not agree with some of these norms, and it is important to ascertain and have the courage of your disagreements. Nevertheless, there is a balance to be found, a growing up that is not the same as appearing respectable. Capricorn values what works, it is not ideological. It values authority and order, for they create the basis for stability and prosperity. But with the Moon squaring Neptune, that is not enough. You need a hotline to the divine, to that which gives meaning outside of the dos and don'ts. Rebellion against convention is often the first step to finding and living this hotline. But people often get stuck at this stage. This rebellion against authority and convention and tradition can sometimes seem like the very foundation of the modern 'counter-culture' that tells people who they are. It is a cliche. The price is alienation from the collective, a lack of fellow-feeling for much of ordinary humanity, and therefore an alienation from oneself. There is an ease with oneself to be found when we stop fighting the collective and its admitted insanities. That doesn't mean we might not protest loudly about some of them. But it's not rigid, it no longer tells us who we are. And that leaves more room for the fresh vision of Neptune in Aries.
