Dave creating a life-threatening funneled wind event across southern Norway, Southwest Sweden and Northern portions of Denmark. Hurricane forced gusts have been reported throughout this afternoon and these winds will persist for a little time as the max wind band moves through. The wind event will ease with time through this evening. Thus, we will be adjusting peak wind gusts for this advisory based on this and not on Dave's (peak wind gusts) As the system itself is being absorbed by another low-pressure system. However, to cover this wind event in the Skagerrak and Kattegat seas along with the respective coastal areas. Peak gusts will locally exceed 90-105 mph in more locaslised areas where funneling is greatest. However mainly gusts will range from 75-85 mph. INT ... 75 KTS ... 85 MPH
