Finley continuing to weaken and is hanging onto mid latitude cyclone characteristics. The system has continued to degrade through this morning; this will continue till this evening where the low becomes a remnant. The system's secondary centre is weakening also. gusty winds will continue to effect northern Scotland. As winds are easing in all areas south. It should be noted gusty conditions will persist but will continue to ease through today. Faroe Islands will see the wind pick up later this afternoon into evening. However, it's becoming increasingly likely the system will be a remnant by that time. Peak gusts have been lowered further down to 60 mph, reasoning to why they remain as high is primarily due to the secondary centre's effects on the system's wind field, as noted this will continue to weaken. INT ... 50 KTS ... 60 MPH
