Mid Latitude Cyclone Position Update: Craig is nearing landfall in southeast Iceland, and the system has broken the Icelandic pressure record October of 935 mb, the system is weakening and will remain a powerful feature, even once northeast of Iceland. However, at this point the low will no longer be having advisories issued on it due to it transitioning into a powerful polar low. The current gusts have been adjusted from the 8A advisory however the next advisory will likely lower peak wind gusts further. As the low's centre moves over southeast Iceland later this evening. The low will likely landfall around the small town of Hรถfn. However, wind speeds will be low end until the west side of Craig's centre passes over. Winds will be weaker but still strong with likely hurricane forced gusts during any downslope wind events. Faroe Islands wind will remain strong for a few more hours, however conditions are beginning to improve slowly. The main issue now is the wind field. Hurricane forced gusts are still very much on going and winds are likely to increase a touch more. Before during the late evening into overnight hours, the low's winds will ease. **DISCLAIMER MLCC IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH MET OFFICE OR ANY OFFICIAL METORLOGICAL ORGANISATION** INT ... 105 KTS ... 120 MPH
