The Democrats in the House were trying to find out what was going on with Pete Hegseth and Signalgate. How much information was shared, and with whom was it shared? Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House, used his authority to advance a measure in the House Rules Committee that would prevent any votes on “resolutions of inquiry”, which would take away one of the few oversight tools the House Democrats have as a minority party in the chamber. He doesn't want anyone to find out. The House Republicans have voted to postpone any inquiries until September 30th, six months from now. Does that make you mad?
