I’m giving you a gift by putting my thoughts out here. I’m letting you inside another human being’s mind. I’m showing you what I believe, what I question, what excites me, what I struggle with, and how I make sense of my life. I’m bearing my soul in public. You can agree with me. You can disagree with me. You can think I’m completely wrong. But for a moment, you get to see the world through someone else’s eyes. Most of us walk around wondering what other people are really thinking. Then someone actually opens up, and we get a glimpse of a whole inner world we would never have seen otherwise.
