What happened in Florida should get the attention of every voter in Southern Illinois. Republicans, Democrats, and independents. Angie Nixon just won the Florida Democratic primary for U.S. Senate despite being outspent 16-to-1, proving grassroots voters can still beat big-money politics. Why does that matter here? Because Southern Illinois has the same choice to make. Mike Bost has been in Congress for 12 years. And after 12 years, too many of our communities are still struggling with aging roads and water systems. Rural healthcare is getting harder to find. Families are driving farther for doctors. Because elections shouldn’t be about who can raise the most money from PACs and powerful interests. They should be about who will fight hardest for the people who actually live here. I answer to you. Florida just reminded us that big money doesn’t get the final vote. People do. And after 12 years, Southern Illinois has a chance to decide whether we want more of the same - or representation that belongs to all of us. #For All of Us. #Fortier4Congress See les
