In a universe of infinite size in space, eternal in time, and infinite in content (substance, matter, energy), isn't it almost *implied* (or even *necessary* or *inevitable*) that consciousness eventually reoccurs (and reoccurs forever thereafter, even given "interruptions"), given that infinite time in such a condition of unending spaceโ€”and material within that spaceโ€”would seem to imply infinite chances for the re-emergence of complex and specific arrangements of matter (brains and brain-like structures) that, as far as we are currently aware, appear to give rise to (or at least "tune in to") the property or quality of consciousness, awareness, or subjectivity?
