Exact location is now likely certain to be the southern coast of Rep of Ireland, however due to any wobbles during this part of Chandra's life cycle is tricky get exactly correct. Rainfall is currently on going along with blustery winds picking up. Moderate gales force gusts have been reported across southern UK, Northern France, Southern Rep of Ireland and Southwest Wales. These winds will continue to increase in strength some areas seeing their respective peak winds through tonight into tomorrow. For France: Heavy rains will also over spread France. Flooding will also be a risk here and gusty conditions are expected in France with strongest gusts being confined to coastal areas. This threat is slowly subsiding. Structural damage along with, coastal flooding is likely and inland flooding is also possible from the heavy rainfall associated with this system. Southern England and Wales: Much of the southern portion of England much of Wales will see very heavy rainfall which will see the greatest threat for flooding due to recent rainfall totals. The system will also bring blustery conditions especially of concern for the southwest of England that was impacted by Goretti. Central, northern England and Scotland: These areas especially the higher ground will see impactful snowfall and to lower levels this will be heavy rainfall that will run the risk of flooding. Blustery conditions are also expected. Concern being areas that are known for wind funneling. These winds may cause disruptions. This rain/snow activity will move through fairly quickly. However, training bands are what will cause the travel disruptions. Preparations in France, Rep of Ireland, Northern Ireland and mainland UK should now be completed for this system. The flooding threat for France will be primary concern. Wind and flooding for Southern UK. With Rep of Ireland flooding and wind of course being a more elevated hazard. Northern Ireland also seeing strong winds and having a flooding hazard. Northern England and Much of Scotland. The higher ground will see persistent snowfall. Should flooding on roadways be encountered. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO THROUGH. Turn around don't drown. INT ... 70 KTS ... 80 MPH
