jet lag the game s16 e3 thoughts and reactions, now that i've had time to sit down and watch the whole thing: honestly i was rooting for sam so much this round because 1) it would be pretty boring if the first run was the best run and 2) he started off the round with Milton Keynes Fun Facts and i love his fun fact yapping, so longer run = more fun fact yapping. i'm DEVASTATED by the unblurred santander sign. the play where he used the curse to send ben & adam straight into the time trap was just *chef kiss* BEAUTIFUL also loved the unexpected narrative tension from the bird guide curse. i too thought that the swan strat would be OP but i guess the london pigeons said fuck sam specifically lmao. milton keynes reminds me of a few neighborhoods / spots here in the philippines that are built for like... middle-class types to raise their 2.5 children in but still drive a car. like these neighborhoods no places of interest because they want it to look Generic and Safe and don't want to offend the capitalists pouring money into it lol. i get why sam says that it sucks
