Taking a lesson from the cats, enjoying a short break from the studio and having a lil sun time. ...A recent conversation in which my mental health was brought up has made me think about it from an outsider perspective. People who have not had depression, anxiety, or any neurodivergence seem to assume these experiences are a burden, flaw or bad design. I disagree. While having mental health issues can be all these things and much more, the one shining positive thing: we have empathy. We care about others because we know how hard it is to pick yourself up and keep going. We see through the bullshit to the heart because we know that's what matters. What some see as a weakness, I see as a strength.
