Sort of. Free health care? No. Paid by taxes. So, sort of like paying into a fund for years, and when you get some back, saying that you received free money. Same for education - taxes. Minimum wage? I think he's about 50% too high. (Unless it's bruto - before taxes.) But, some companies (if not all) give an extra two months salary for vacation (June) and year end bonus (holiday pay). Parental leave? Taxes. Six weeks vacation? Not exactly. I believe the standard is four, but the workweek is 38 hours, and people work a standard of 40 hours per week. (the two hours extra per week turns into one day vacation per month, or twelve per year.) That added to the normal national holidays, 10, I believe, works out to 42 days. So, sort of.
