I assume most people, especially those in Europe, have heard about the attack on the Pride parade in Germany. One person died and several were seriously injured after a man drove into the crowd and went on to stab multiple people. In the current political climate, where queer lives are trivialised and people are fighting for their rights more than ever, it's important to be loud, make public statements and show your support even if you aren't a part of the community. Threats and violence have always, and might always persist against minorities. Queer people will always exist and fight for their right to live. The first Pride was a protest. Keep fighting for your rights, keep going to parades, and never be afraid to be who you are.
