Your life had felt so directionless lately, like no matter what you did or who you were with you didn't truly belong there. A void in your soul that only seemed to grow bigger with each passing day, so when a shady hooded reptilian merchant approached you and offered you a supposedly magical compass that was supposed to point you towards what you desire most, as sceptical as you were you simply had to get it. Not that you really knew what you desired most.. but maybe with this you would be able to figure that out. Preparing yourself for a potentially long journey and fastening the compass onto a chain around your neck before setting off into the unknown.. Trekking through forests and over mountains, the days passing by as you fixate on the compasses needle. Latching onto it like your guiding star, holding onto that hope that once you reach the end of this unknown path that you follow everything in your life will finally click into place. That whatever you find will let you feel complete and lead this happy fulfilled life that you can only dream what may even be like.. Adjusting your course whenever the needle moved even a little bit, slowly making your way through whatever happened to be in your way in an almost lost haze. Hardly processing the world around you anymore as it changes, mind and focus locked too heavily onto your guide to care about anything else. Finally arriving at a cave far away from any civilization. The environment adorned with bright glowing blue crystals and tingling with electrical currents, some even seemingly floating with small sparks connecting them to each other. The phenomenon probably having some sort of logical explanation behind it but to you it might as well have been magic... but that hardly mattered anyway. After all your compass was still pointing deeper... You think at least, the needle was starting to spin and act a little strange, but certainly that was a sign that you were close! That what you were searching so desperately for was finally within reach... So steeling yourself a little and ignoring the buzzing tingle all over your body you pushed forward. However what you came face to face with you couldn't have properly prepared yourself for... Staring up at the massive scaly head of a contently snoozing dragon that you wernt even sure how fit in this cave. You hadn't seen a creature this big before in person... Or smelled them for that matter.. it's warm gross breath puffing out over you in its sleep and burning at your lungs, rich with the foul fumes of a clearly predatory creatures inhospitable stomach. Mercifully it seemed quite sound asleep else you imagine you would have been immediately snapped up and devoured.. or worse... Nervously glancing back down at your compass as you moved about, trying to quietly slip past the sleeping beast. Slowly working your way past it's sides, watching it's fat gut rising and falling with every heavy breath it takes. Gradually making your way all the way around the hulking figure, carefully slipping over its curled up tail and arriving at was apparently the end of the cave... Only to find the needle of your compass now pointing back. Your heart dropping as you freeze in place with hitched breath, slowly maneuvering yourself back around the resting dragon with a progressively growing pit in your stomach. Watching as the compasses needle points towards it as you move around the beast, or more specifically to its stomach... Surely it couldn't have... But you had come this far... At this point it was too late to give up no matter how much every instinct in your body and mind was screaming to run away as you approached the sleeping dragons mouth, half open and idly puffing out its gross breath, a teaser for how much worse it assuredly was inside. Clutching your guiding compass tight while hesitantly extending your other hand towards the beasts awaiting maw. Carefully placing your hand upon its giant slimy tongue, feeling how your digits squish into the spongy muscle as you press down. Excess saliva pooling around you as you slowly but surely crawl fully inside that foul drooly cavern. Your every breath huffing the dragons own now, burning at your lungs and making your head spin while you stare down it's waiting esophagus. Watching how it idly flexes open and closed with the beasts rhythmic breathing, uvula dangling above and buzzing with soft rumbly snores. Getting lost frozen there at the mesmerizing sight of that powerful muscular tunnel and those sharp rows of draconic teeth lining your world like cage. The once awful scent and terrifying sight seeming to slowly change perception the longer you stared, becoming almost welcoming. Each autonomous movement of the Dragons throat beaconing you in... Calling for you. And it's warm breath enveloping your entirety in a comforting haze that spread throughout your body. Soon enough finding yourself leaning closer and closer unconsciously, sliding along the back of that big ol' tongue until you finally slipped past the precipice. Feeling yourself falling for a moment that felt like an eternity, before being caught by the soft embrace of the Dragons gullet. Slimy folds letting you sink nice and deep into them, cradling your body while coating every inch of you in thick sticky drool. The next rippling clench of the Dragons peristalsis making those powerful muscles squeeze over your body in a possessively tight hug. Each natural movement of its body dragging you gradually deeper into the beasts depths, not even needing to swallow to claim you. Time quickly losing all meaning as you make your way down the Dragons throat. The feeling of such a powerful creature completely surrounding you, so easily overpowering and devouring you even in its sleep... hot slimy flesh working over every inch of your body and your every breath heavy with the stench of its progressively nearing stomach... It was such an addictive feeling. So small and helpless under the control of a creature that could do anything and everything it wanted to you without you being able to do anything about it no matter how hard you tried. And right now its body wanted you... You could feel the greed and hunger the dragon possessed with each clenching squeeze that drags you deeper into your new home.. And who were you to try and deny such a mighty creature what it wants... What it deserves..~ It's not like you had much going for you anyway... That's the whole reason you set off on this journey after all wasn't it? You were lost, directionless with nothing to give your life the meaning and purpose you so desperately craved. And finally for the first time in what was as long as you could remember, you felt like you belonged somewhere. Like no matter what happened it would be okay, because you are right where you were always meant to be. Unable to help but close your eyes and relax... Letting the Dragons greed claim your entirety body and soul, guiding you to where it decided you belonged. Wetly shlopping down into the larger chamber of its stomach, fleshy walls of your forever home illuminated by a particularly large glowing blue crystal. Crackling with the same electric current as the ones throughout the rest of the cave, almost making the air sparkle and tingle, albeit that last part could also just be the Dragons stomach acids starting to be worked over you. The needle of your compass spinning in circles as you settle into the slimy folds of those fleshy walls, not that it mattered anymore anyway, you knew you were right where you were meant to be. Letting your consciousness start to slowly drift away as you relaxed in the embrace of the Dragons stomach... Body feeling heavier with every breathe you take and every squeeze of those slimy walls... A wave of such blissful peace and contentment washing over your mind as everything finally faded away. Your last lingering thoughts hanging onto that feeling of finally being where you belong... And as you faded the Dragon grinned, slowly rubbing over its belly with a big scaly paw. Listening to its stomach idly work as the hours pass... Until it lets out a small satisfied belch that results in a small broken grime soaked compass clattering to the floor of its cave. Carefully picking it up between two claws and lifting one of the nearby crystals from the ground with its others hand. Dropping the broken instrument into the large pile of similar ones in a hole underneath before casually covering it back up and lazily yawning. Getting comfortable again and licking its chops with a rumbly growl... Giving it's gut a few content pats before letting itself slowly drift back to sleep waiting for it's next meal to deliver itself..~
