A long time ago, there lived an unmarried young woman. Every day, she prayed to the gods for a child. For years, her prayed went unheard. Then, one day, one of them answered. Hestia, the goddess of the hearth, heard the woman. She was so moved by her desire to start a family that she placed a soul that she baked into the woman's womb. Nine months later, Tatiana was born. Her mother couldn't be more thrilled. Though Tatiana was no normal baby. As she grew, Tatiana demonstrated a natural talent for cooking and baking. Though young, she loved watching and joining her mother in the kitchen. She able to make small meals by the time she was eight. She also had a knack for coming up with the most delicious combinations. Every spice and flavor, she understood completely. It wasn't until she was 10 that Hestia made herself known. Tatiana was Hestia's child. And it appeared that she had inherited her godly parent's baking and cooking abilities. From then on, Hestia would visit often; training Tatiana to use her powers. But also warning her about hunters, evil creatures, and those who sought to hurt others like her. Tatiana took each lesson to heart, and vowed to help others if needed. As Tatiana grew, so did her powers. So much so that she was even able to help others with her edible creations. When she had saved up enough, Tatiana bought her own coffee shop and home just above it. She enchanted every inch, making sure that only those who had no intention of doing any harm were allowed inside. She also made sure that any magical creatures in the area knew that they were safe in her domain. To this day, Tatiana's shop stands, and she's made quite the name for herself. Though who knows how long this peace will last.
