SEIZE THE DAY Daily Astrology Mon 2nd Nov Mars conjunct Jupiter in Leo. These 2 planets are still 5 degrees apart, but the Moon is joining them today, so we need to pay attention. They are also opposite the North Node. This is looking like a very significant transit, both individually and collectively, and it has 2 more weeks to go. Mars is the classically masculine planet: it knows what it wants, and how to get it. Leo is the heart, so pay attention to your chest. What is burgeoning in there, what is it that you want? Carpe Diem - Seize the Day. This can be self-centred if done superficially, but not so if you listen deeply. The voice of the spirit speaks through what we want, life unfolds as it needs to when we act on that. There is no virtue in denying yourself the life you want and the things you want. That is a foolish hangover from Christianity. A hangover from biology too, if you are a mother: your strength is to put your children and family first, but it also becomes a weakness when the life you want for yourself starts to knock at the door. Jupiter is the king of the gods, and what he decrees happens with ease. It may be that something you thought you wanted is taken away, just like that, because generous Jupiter has your real interests at heart. But more likely is there to be a blessing on that which you seize hold of, done thoughtfully. There is the feeling of a gift, for which we give thanks. The next 2 weeks are particularly good for giving thanks to Jupiter for taking care of us, and for the many gifts that enable our life to work. Leo understands life to be an unfoldment from an ever deeper centre, that is both unique to us and divine. So in receiving Jupiter's gifts - which may be just an enhancement of what you have already - you will feel your whole life is taking a step forward, one more weave in the mysterious Fate that was decreed for you at birth.
