Daily thoughts #17 Bant is my current frontrunner. I am hitting this weird point in testing where my winrate with new decks is much lower than with the ones I am comfortable with. It's kind of hard to parse whether the new decks are actually good or not. 🤷And I am also miserable playing the deck I haven't played before (hence my UB mid tweet). The Scam (evoke Elementals + Not Dead After All) stuff is interesting, I am not sure it's the bomb. The Elementals not triggering on reentering makes it a lot worse, and the deck doesn't have that much pressure so one 6 or 7 powered creature is sometimes managable. Will investigate further over the weekend. I think I am giving up on any other decks beside Reanimator / Bant / Lessons / Scam. Simply not enough time, there's 4 days of testing left. No Jeskai Control for me (phew). Current ranking would be Bant > Reanimator > Scam > Lessons, I guess? Lessons suffer from big beefy Wistfulness too much. Reanimator can get hated out. Scam might be Scam. GW creatures are the truth! I am planning to attend Prague RCQ with Bant on Sunday (missing 1 Aang Swift Savior and 2 Avatar's Wrath if anyone can hook me up🙏). Btw, I need to 10-0 constructed, because the PT players are CLOWNING on me in the single elim queues. 😂 Got coaching lesson from Amaz two days ago, which immensely helpful, that guy knows his shit. We will see if that's enough.
