I can finally talk about my time at Feria de Comics this weekend! It's my favorite event to sell at all because of how welcoming and kind the local artist community is and how fun it is. And with a new location over at Old San Juan thus opening up to more people, it was a bit scary to see how this change goes. But besides the stuff that we couldn't control like the electricity woes causing the schedule to be shortened, the heat and the construction along with a few hiccups with our TGC event, it is still such a fun time selling and talking with people both artists and visitors! I first want to thank Manuel Martínez-Nazario for being an amazing organizer and always looking out for artists to see how they are doing while being honest about what can be improved for the next edition. I also want to thank the volunteers at Ballaja for helping out with tables and always providing food and snacks for the vendors. Next, I want to thank Mariela Figueroa and Eliana Falcon for running the PR OC TGC event! Despite the stress and tight schedule, you guys managed to bring a ton of artists together over of Discord and hype each other up for our characters, resulting in us excitingly trading cards with each other. I would love to do more of this in the future! (Shoutout to Luis Falcon for providing extra booklets/flyers for us!) I also want to thank my mom for helping out at the table and being patient with me when I was overwhelmed and stressed out. She has also enjoyed the event! And lastly, I want to thank all the people who visited at my table no matter if they were new or a repeat customer. It's a ton of fun seeing how you guys react to my work (Special shoutout to Steven Florez/SFZ for drawing Witch Girl on the spot!) and it did make me feel a bit more confident with producing new stuff and considering vending in more events in the near future after a year hiatus. I'll let you guys know when that happens! Besides that, thank you all so much for making this weekend incredible!
