As a person who followed this series through voice actors and actresses, regardless of any discourse, and even if its creator itself approves of gen ai use, i personally appreciate human efforts that invoke emotions. Prior to any ai use, the game itself snuffed out life from content that made it shine for the seiota folks by removing voiced stories. Still, they redeem themselves through lives and seldom yuri asmr (that is NOT self insert like the G's ones). We have seen 2 relevant reading lives so far. As much as I hate how it was organized, it still is content that i appreciate. But these content has since been too sparse, and seiyuu related events have been very...........stagnant. The 5th anniversary talk show goods lineup is conveyed in positive PR but the reaction of the seiyuus, albeit jokingly, is true -- instead of lilies, they make merchandise of the meme mascot. The key visual for 5th anniv talkshow does not even excite me... they pasted a clip studio lily flower material on their uniforms and set layer mode to multiply...is the vibe. The franchise is flourishing still. And at least im grateful that they treat their media as independent entity to one a other. BUT The stageplay has been having its own problems with writing and character development execution because somehow they have been trying to tie the timelines together. However it's not working because the game is more focused on goonifying event stories. But that's a topic for another day. Going back to the efforts in the art department, it's abhorrent that they commission artists to produce countdown art, key visual for LB but then produce slop for their official assets. If they're trying to save money to commission more artists, that's one messed up way to do so. Id rather put my own energy supporting what i can wholeheartedly appreciate than any slop made to "ease the process of creativity" or whatever dumb corporate slogan they might use for it. LB is a huge chunk of the shipping culture in this franchise and i really hate for it to turn out to be so lame but in retrospect it's been so lame the past 2 years save for a few main stories. Defending it is not worth the yuri crumbs it returns. At least... For now. I emailed LB demanding they bring some light to the concerns but we will never really know if they will step up or double down. I guess we'll see if this ai fuckery is just a one-time thing with their background assets. I wouldn't wait til the damage is too far done though, so everything I wrote here was also submitted as feedback, signed with love, of course. Anyways, the whole rant is over but i will always carry this strong feeling against the direction to which the new developers are taking this franchise to.
