04T moving away from New Foundland and has steadily intensifying. 04T is becoming much better organised and a low level centre is becoming present as the cold air mass surges south and from here the low will begin to intensify a bit more quickly. This strengthening will become rapid through tonight and tomorrow. The low will be out over the open North Atlantic as the system reaches peak strength. However the system will occlude and the cyclone's centre will move towards Iceland. Although weakening during the approach the system will still be strong when it landfalls over Southern Iceland in the very early hours of Friday morning.
