https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28o5qbp4AOU I know I tend to tell people that the songs that were used in Initial D are not a great representation of the genre and that there is A LOT of better stuff out there, but of course, there are exceptions. "Message in a Bottle" is one of those. It has that free-falling quality that is typical for a lot of Eurobeat, especially in the chorus. Also, Claudio Magnani's voice is 👌 And yes, I realize that a lot of Manuel's songs were used in Initial D, however: a) Maybe of his earlier songs were kind of mid, it took him starting to write his own material for things to become epic (and lyrically questionable). b) Him being an Eurobeat artist is AT MOST 10% of the reasons why I love him.
