TEST YOUR ENLIGHTENMENT IN THE SOCIAL WORLD. It’s easy to feel enlightened alone. It’s easy to feel aligned when everyone approves of you. But how grounded are you after rejection? How present are you when somebody dismisses you, misunderstands you, or makes you feel invisible? That is where I test myself. I deliberately enter the social world because I’m hungry for growth. I don’t chase rejection because I enjoy suffering. I welcome the possibility of rejection because I refuse to let fear control my life. Then I observe myself. If I’m rejected and remain present, joyful, and grounded, I pass the test. If I lose my energy, become resentful, or begin questioning my worth, I don’t pretend I’m enlightened. I investigate. What exactly hurt? What belief did the rejection activate? What am I trying to prove? Why did another person’s decision gain control over my internal state? Then I dig until I find the lesson. I confront the pattern. I integrate the pain. I return to the world and test myself again. The social world is my training ground. Every interaction reveals something. Every rejection exposes another attachment. Every painful reaction points toward the next part of myself that needs understanding. I’m not afraid to discover that I still have work to do. I’m hungry for that discovery. Because every time life exposes another weakness, it gives me another opportunity to become free.
