We’ve normalized insecurity so much that people have stopped questioning it. Everyone has insecurities, so we’re told to accept them and live with them. But why should that be the end of the conversation? If you believe you’re not good enough, you can examine that belief. If rejection makes you feel worthless, you can ask why another person’s choice has that much power over you. If criticism ruins your day, you can find the fear it touched and work through it. That’s the work of self-actualization: becoming honest enough with yourself to find those fears, and free enough that they no longer run your life. Aim for zero insecurities. Aim to be able to hear criticism without collapsing, face rejection without losing your worth, and walk into a room without needing everyone’s approval. You don’t get there by pretending nothing hurts. You get there by refusing to leave your deepest doubts unquestioned.
