It's not easy to stake it out on your own, but the easy thing and the right thing aren't often the same. So I guess I'm about to see how hard it is for myself! So without further adieu I have a new show coming soon, called the Woodshed Sports Report. Branding isn't ready for the reveal just yet, but my friend Jacob Paris of byjacobparis is on it! I'm hoping to have my backdrop and everything ready to go for a 2 hour show on Monday (April 27) at 1 pm MT on both Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/woodshedsportsreport) and YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@WoodshedSportsReport). Tenative schedule is M/W/F at 1pm MT, but not every day will be the same, with the second hour being themed. Monday is Minor Sports Monday so I will additionally be having a focus on the plethora of amateur and semi-pro sports that are around Calgary. Wednesday is Wildcard Wednesday, a show where the second hour will be maybe sports related? Maybe not. Maybe chat will take over. Friday is Fired Up Friday. Hot takes galore. I think that's enough said. But with that said, I wouldn't be making this jump without the opportunity that Andrew Berkshire and Game Over Network handed me as a student at Mount Royal who came with some training and a lot of passion and not much more. Thank you for pushing me to be a better broadcaster.
