I DO NOT FOLLOW BACK everyone. I am especially not fond of sports only, gore, solely adult posts, follow farmers, anyone who does not engage/talk with folks - if it's all just what you are selling, I am not buying. I am a strong member of the Mental Health communities in general and the Bipolar Community specifically. (I am a Resister and follow many voices of the Opposition.) My redline is saneism. If you don’t know what exactly that means and are curious enough, my DM is open. (Hint: I am much more likely to follow people I believe can consider new info. 😜) Many of those folks I choose not to follow back are decent people just with interests or posts I am not interested in. I do prefer that my followers are moots (Mutuals) so if I determine I will not be following someone back, I usually tag them and ask them to unfollow. I don’t like blocking real people that I don’t have a real reason to avoid. (10/1/2025) Someone called me a “Bipolar Activist who digs around in past posts” today. I can live with that. Everyone's vetting process is personal to them. I see a lot of folks who say no profile pic, no bio, no follow. I vet every Follow Back. (7/9/2025) The profile search was fixed (yah or boo!!! IDK) It was a nice break to look at folks at their best instead of searching for the worst. My (Current) Process: 💜💜💜ONE Keyword search. The search option for any profile is listed under the three dots in the upward right of that profile. The keywords I search are: bipolar, manic, delusional, psychotic, insane, mental (and subject to additions if I find disparaging saneism posts with a word not presently identified.) 10/22/2025 I have added narcissist, narcissistic, narcissism to my keywords. I selected these keywords because they seem to be the most often misused actual mental illness diagnoses, DSM V designated symptoms that define the illness or states of the illness and other clinical terms whose only legitimate use is in a court of law. IF anyone chooses to challenge or debate any of these words, I’m cool with that. My beliefs require that I listen to new info and re-evaluate without outright discarding any idea I have not processed. So, my DM is open. What I do next depends on context. My DM is open if you’d like to ask for more information. 💜💜💜TWO Second keyword search: Dems, democrats - small d (added 9/21/2025) The last couple of weeks I have noticed (during regular scrolling) negative posts referencing "the Dems" or "the democrats" (capitalized or not) and strongly advocating for forming third parties. After a few hit my nerves wrong, I started searching their profiles for those 2 keywords...and I found continuous, consistent negative comments (in one case over 50.) So, today it got so far under my skin that I've started another moderation list. At this point, my paranoid best believes these are infiltrating bad actors with the goal of keeping us focused on the negatives and urging third party creation. (very low chance of success) to split the Opposition vote. If you are demonstrating this kind of behavior, you probably shouldn't draw my attention by following me or blocking me 😜 💜💜💜THREE "Media" column: I am a world-class meme thief so the next thing I check is if you have quality memes. 😜 People who take the extra time to provide alt text for the visually challenged are very easily spotted under this heading. (Ask me for a link to my longer.blue that explains alt text - if you are interested.) I make graphics (btw I accept requests for free custom graphics from moots) and I made a cool meme that I post acknowledging and appreciating people who write alt text and immediately following them (whether I’m vetting a Follow Back or if I just saw some alt text and stopped everything to look at that person right then!) 💜💜💜FOUR "Replies" column: every post one adds content to is under this heading (original posts, replies and quote posts…Reposts aren't here and are not counted in one's total posts.) What one says gives me a clear idea about who they are as a person. 💜💜💜FINAL THOUGHTS Anyone who is in that 2.3K backlog (10/20/2025) 🔥 that wants to jump the line, show up in my Notifications - Replies. I vet the folks that start talking to me first.😜 (See the info about the Bsky Tracker under the signature line for clarity of my choices of who to vet when. - that makes it “as clear as mud” 😜 ) So, again, please decide what your vetting process is and vet me before following me. I would hate not to live up to your expectations and I'm really happy when you live up to mine. Less than 500 followers. Follows more than 50,000 users. (I get to set those numbers and the actual filters are more than/less than) Several keyword filters. Just whatever hmmm …comes to mind. The developer will be adding a date followed before/after filter to the “People you don’t follow back” category sometime soon and when that happens, I will earnestly go back to January and work my way forward because I know I’m being unfair to the folks that followed from starter packs in January (which buried me to start with.)
