Death may be like taking off a tight shoe after wearing it for an entire lifetime. The body carried pain, tension, fear, responsibility, and exhaustion. Then, at the end, it releases its grip. We cannot know with certainty what comes next. But perhaps death is not something to fear. Perhaps it is the final letting go. The pressure ends. The struggle softens. And whatever we truly are is finally allowed to rest.
