I am now locked on Lessons. 🧑‍🏫(this is the teacher emoji) I will spend tomorrow trying to figure out the exact version, but I'm leaning towards no Stormchaser Talent as of now. Only matchup, where I felt I was missing it was against Jeskai. I just keep being impressed by this deck, it plays well on low mana, has the best one drop in format, great early game cards, good lategame. It might have overall lower winrate because of how hard it is to play, lots of decision points and mistakes can snowball. But it keeps coming up ahead in basically every playtesting session I have. I played against @sikolio today, and just got completely demolished with every deck I threw at him. I honestly don't have much to write about today, because it was mostly spent confirming the ideas I previously had. I played some with Jeskai, but I feel it just comes little behind against Lessons, and while fine into green decks I'd be worried playing it into open field like at the Spotlight. I lost some matches vs random deck, and it even feels bad vs Dimir 🤮 The tweets conversation I had about Landfall helped me understand the deck a bit better, but I still think it's dog to the other top decks. I will go into bigger details of my Lessons decklist tomorrow, sorry for the brief write-up, but my PC shut down randomly, so my notes weren't saved (should have used google doc).
