Finley becoming better organised through this afternoon, further intensification is expected. Finley has begun to undergo cyclogenesis this afternoon, the low will continue to strengthen through this evening and into tomorrow. The low will bring blustery conditions widely to the Rep of Ireland and UK, along with yet more heavy rainfall widely. The system will bring its strongest winds across northwest and northern Scotland through Monday into Tuesday. Recovery efforts will be severely hampered by this system. Coastal flooding, river flooding and damaging winds are expected, although the system is likely not to be as strong as Boelo, the impacts will still be significant. The low's centre will pass to the west of the UK and Rep of Ireland but will pass near or over the Faroe Islands on Tuesday. With the stronger winds arriving later on Tuesday likely into the evening period. However, after then the low will be weakening and will quickly clear the north of Scotland and the Faroe Islands on Wednesday. Where the system will become a remnant low.
