Masculine energy is the leadership energy of society. It creates direction. It initiates. It builds structure. It accepts responsibility for the future. Feminine energy responds to the environment that masculine energy creates. So when an entire society becomes more hardened, guarded, anxious, and disconnected from femininity, stop blaming women first. Ask what happened to the masculine energy of the culture. Where are the men initiating? Where are the men building? Where are the men accepting responsibility? Where are the men creating stability, direction, and a future people can trust? When masculine leadership disappears, feminine energy cannot simply remain relaxed and receptive. It adapts. Women become more self-protective, self-reliant, controlling, and masculine because society requires them to carry energy that men have abandoned. That is not primarily a failure of femininity. It is a response to a vacuum in masculinity. We still see the underlying polarity even after decades of changing social expectations. Men are still generally expected to approach, initiate relationships, plan dates, take risks, provide direction, and absorb rejection. The language of society changed faster than its deeper expectations. Healthy masculine leadership means responsibility. It means creating order instead of chaos, direction instead of confusion, courage instead of passivity, and protection instead of control. A society cannot attack masculine responsibility, remove every honorable model of masculine leadership, and then act confused when both men and women become disoriented. Femininity does not exist in isolation. It responds to the collective environment. If we want a society with more trust, warmth, beauty, connection, and feminine energy, we need to restore healthy masculine energy first. Stop asking only, “What happened to women?” Ask the deeper societal question: “What happened to men—and why did they stop leading?”
