If you treat evil as something enormous, mysterious, and terrifying, you give it psychological power. You make it larger in your mind. You become intimidated before you even confront it. So laugh at it. Not because harm isn’t real. Not because danger should be ignored. Laugh because evil does not deserve your fear, fascination, or reverence. See it clearly. Confront it directly. Crush its influence. But refuse to let it control your internal state. Evil wants to appear powerful. It wants you frozen, obsessed, and afraid. The moment you look at it and think, “That’s cute—you really thought you could control me,” its spell begins to break. You don’t defeat darkness by becoming terrified of it. You defeat it by becoming so grounded, joyful, courageous, and powerful that it cannot enter your spirit. Recognize evil without magnifying it. Confront it without becoming consumed by it. Then laugh, act, and keep moving. That is how you take its power away.
