Dog owners will immediately recognise at least some of the behaviours in their own animals, and you will appreciate the path that lead to that behaviour. I laughed many times - sometimes remembering my own dog, and other times because the text is just so funny. Russell has a delightful way with words and paints wonderful pictures with them. He also draws the beguiling illustrations in the book: you can see the emotions and thought processes in every dog's face!
