The night had been long, so long in fact, it had gone into the early hours of the morning. But, finally, as the sun had begun creeping above the horizon, Cecil had finally finished his shift and left the laboratory. As Cecil left the laboratory, he fumbled around the pocket of his lab coat as he pulled out a box of cigarettes, before being startled as he heard footsteps creeping up behind him. "Cecil!" As he had heard his name called out, he turned around and let out a sigh of relief. It was Mateo, one of his former colleagues. "Mateo? It's...like, 5 in the morning. What're you doing here this early? Aren't you off today?" Mateo shook his head as he chuckled and reached into his bag, before pulling out a paper bag. "Dude, it's 4/20!" Mateo grinned. "So?" Cecil inquired. "So, I got you something!" Cecil raised his eyebrow as he glanced at the baggie. "Don't tell me it's a bunch of blunts." Cecil sighed. "...it's not a bunch of blunts." Mateo grumbled. Cecil opened the bag, before sighing yet again. "It's a bunch of rolled up blunts." "You told me nmto tell you it wasn't a bunch of blunts." "Touché." Cecil sighed as he handed the bag back to Mateo. "Listen, I gotta get home to Ru, he said he was gonna make a really nice breakfast for us, and-" Mateo's eyes went wide with awe as he heard the words "nice" and "breakfast together. "Oooh, do you think he'd mind if I-" Mateo asked "No, I don't believe he would. But, I'll ask. You're lucky you have weed to offer in exchange." Cecil hummed, before going into the car. - Cecil opened the door to his penthouse before sliding off his shoes at the door. "We've got slippers for guests, if you'd like a pair, Mateo." Cecil hummed, before sliding off his lab coat and hanging it on the coat rack by their door. "Ru, we're home!" Ru came to the door with a chef's apron dusted with flour and a bit of sauce, which was always a lovely sight for Cecil. He adored seeing his beloved doing what he enjoyed most. Plus it was a major upside Ru was an ace cook. Ru grinned, before shaking Mateo's hand. It left a trace of flour on the other's hand, but it wasn't anything too major. "Ah, sorry, forgot t' wash the flour off before comin' over." Ru apologized, before leading the other two back to the kitchen. "So, Cecil told me you have some interestin' strains we'll dig into right now before breakfast! Whaddya got for us?" Mateo grinned. "Well, the dispensary I was at had these new blends that they said give more of a smooth feeling when going down, perfect for relaxing before having a meal." He grinned, before nudging Cecil. "So it's an appetite stimulant?" Cecil asked, grabbing a blunt from the bag. Ru raised an eyebrow. "Seems interestin' enough. Can't 'member the last time I had the munchies, though." Mateo grinned. "Come on, it'll be fun! What's the worst that could happen?" "Alright, alright, I'll humor you. Let me at least grab my vintage lighter, this is a special occasion." Cecil chuckled before leaving to his room to grab the lighter. Ru meanwhile wrapped up cooking, closing the oven door behind him as all there was left to do was wait for dinner to be finished. "So, how've ya been? It's been ages since I've gotten to chat with you since I left the lab." Ru asked, taking off his apron before hanging it in the kitchen closet cupboard. "Well, it's been alright. Same old same old, taking a look at some fruit, seeing if there's anything new to learn about it." Mateo hummed, trying desperately to avoid. The incident. - Cecil returned with the lighter, and a change of clothes that were much more comfortable. The trio each took a joint, before Cecil lit each one of them. Cecil raised his joint, giving a small toast. "Cheers!" "Cheers." "Cheers!" Cecil was the first to take a drag out of his joint, with it going down smoothly just as Mateo said it would. Oddly, it left...a bit of a fruit-esque taste in his mouth as he helt in the smoke before exhaling with a cough. The smoke seemed to have traces of a very, very light blue in it. Perhaps Cecil was just seeing things; he did just work a 12 hour shift after all. Ru's hit went better, with him taking a long drag, before blowing out the smoke in a single clean sweep without coughing like Cecil. Oddly, it seemed his smoke had slight traces of red within the haze. Probably just the lighting, he told himself. Mateo, the most experienced one, however, seemed to hold out his drag for the longer out of the three before letting out the smoke evenly and well distributed. Cecil noted an odd trace of yellow in the haze of his smoke, "That... actually felt good. A bit sweet, " Cecil grunted, before coughing. "Pretty good. Taste's familiar, it's on the tip'pa my tongue..." Ru hummed. Mateo chuckled, before taking another drag, and blowing out the smoke. "See? When have you guys ever had a bad trip with me?" "Alright, alright you win." Cecil mumbled, before rubbing his stomach as it growled. In the background, the oven let out a ding. "Right on time, boys." Ru hummed, getting up from his seat as he began serving dinner. - Breakfast was more of a feast, which was always a bit of a norm since Ru and Cecil had to eat more than the average person. With there being a third, and all of them being high with the munchies, it was a feast fit for multiple kings. Buttermilk muffins, breakfast sausage, potatoes with steak, tomato bisque soup, and Cecil's personal favorite for dessert; red velvet cake. All very flavorful, and sure to leave them full and sated, after stuffing their faces of course. The table was set up in a manner that allowed anyone to fill their plate back up with whatever they desired without having to get back up. Perfect for the gorging that was taking place. Cecil had been chugging the tomato bisque from his bowl, groaning with each gulp as he finally let out a slight belch when he took the bowl away from his lips. He poured himself bowl after bowl, taking bites of breakfast sausage bastard bowls of soup to make sure he was filling his belly, which was slowly stretching out the fabric of his sweatpants. Mateo, being the one who experienced being high with the munchies the most in the trio, had been picking from each dish, slowly panting as he felt a bit more bloated than he usually would when eating this much. He was sweating nearly as much as Cecil and Ru, feeling a bit lightheaded. Perhaps it was just the weed calming his mind and body down a bit. Ru was happily gorging himself with mounds of meat and potatoes, hunched over his place as he scooped heaping spoonful after spoonful into his mouth, panting as he took a breath for a moment to grab one of the soda cans that were on the table. He cracked the van open before chugging it down as if he hadn't drank anything in days. "Mmh- ***uurap-*** Mat- want a soda?" Ru offered, feeling a bit rude for not offering earlier. "Hm? Me? Ah, nah, I'm fine actually. Not thirsty at all." He grinned, before going back to enjoying the smorgasbord full of food. His belly looking a bit more taut, as his shorts seemed to fit him a bit tighter. Nevertheless, he took another hit from his blunt, before exhaling it once more. Before long, the trio sat at the table, with Cecil and Ru having grown visibly, their bodies more plump and bloated with food and juice alike. Mateo however, clutched his stomach as he panted. He looked fit to burst, and yet he struggled to reach forward to take a bite out of the little that remained of the red velvet cake. "Hungry.." Mateo groaned, reaching over for the last slice, cramming it into his mouth, as if he had an insatiable appetite. Cecil rubbed his bloated gut before glancing over towards Ru with a grin. "We should...do this more often.." He panted, before glancing over at Mateo- Who seemed to have a shade of yellow-orange creeping onto his cheeks.
