HEAD, HEART & INSTINCT Daily Astrology Wed 30th Sept Mercury enters Scorpio, in square to Pluto in Aquarius and Mars in Leo. A juicy combination. Mercury is the mind and communication. Scorpio prioritises emotional truth over logical truth. You just say it as it is, and find the evidence later. Aquarius is the opposite: it prioritises truth as an objective rational idea, and may not have much respect for the Scorpio way. Aquarius, if you like, is the Guardian reader who looks down on the 'ignorant' working class while claiming to be its supporter. Scorpio is savage about the hypocrisy of this, but may only be able to answer with his fists. Alternatively, you may be the new age type who looks down on rationality as 'in the head'. Rational and emotional truth both have their claims, and Mars is having to negotiate between them. And Mars in Leo is fierce and proud and assertive. You could find yourself in quite the argument today, but bear in mind that there will probably be an element of each of these different types of truth at war. It it an idea, or a direct reality? Be fiercely honest with yourself about what type of truth you are one-sidedly defending, and be the same with the other person - in the nicest possible way, of course. 🙂 Today's t-square can be strongly transformative: bringing head (Aquarius) and instinct (Scorpio) together through the good offices of a fierce but loving heart (Leo). The personal emphasis is on Mercury: don't be intimidated by intellect, nor be dismissive of it.
