"If you truly understood me, you may decide to not love me! Yet I understand you fully and still love you anyway." It seems to me that the current human condition dictates that love and understanding are mutually exclusive of each other. If you truly understood someone, you might not feel affinity to love them anymore. Similarly if you loved them fully, you would fail to understand them at all. This proves that whoever said that "Love is blind" was correct, it fits with my empirical observation of human behaviour in modern times. It doesn't have to be this way though! If you fully understood someone for all their imperfections yet chose to love them anyway, it speaks to an ability towards compassion which is second to none, one that would mimic God's consciousness and demonstrate an understanding of his true nature. It is virtually non-existent in our times, it is almost a noble act to do this. This is also a precursor to un-conditional love! Again in a time of transactional relationships and perpetual sleep-walking, people can only but romanticize the notion of true love, they want to experience it but when it shows up, create a self-sabotaging situation which repeats past patterns and behaviours which gas-light them out of this experience and they later paint it as phony! There is something subliminal in this behavioral pattern. It points to a loss of hope or rather a sense of hopelessness in the human condition today! We only but have to look around us to see why. I will elaborate on this later, but sit with this for the moment. -The Saint and the Psychopath! ā¤ļø|šŸ–¤
