Daily thoughts #20 I will submit Bant Airbending at the Lorwyn Eclipsed PT in Richmond. I have tried Lessons today, and Wistfulness, Oko and others are just bit too much for the deck to handle. I think it's okay choice, but I don't feel the edge in green matchups as much as I used to previously. That + decks like Reanimator that are bad matchups now being more prevalent makes me not want to play Lessons. I was also pitched a new potentially broken deck today, spent couple hours playing it, but ultimately decided it's too late. Won't spoil for now as some people I know are running it. Bant is nice, I was off it briefly, because I was scared of Lessons, but I no longer worry about that. Here's my current list: https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/7596549#paper - Drew Portico 3 times and it has been good every time so far. - need to do a bigger dive on the manabase, prolly tomorrow - went up to 4x Doc, I just wanna combo quick, card is good in our deck - finally cut all Speakers, but it feels wrong? the card is sometimes nice but I like all the other cards more, it's weird - sideboard is still up in the air, I think Get Lost is needed for Conqueror, - might play Insidious Fungus to beat Torpor Orb - I'd like to fit 1 more Spider Sense that card is kinda nice - maybe extra Avatar Wrath, that card seems great v Cubs - also 1-2 Oko for Lessons, but there isn't infinie space in the sideboard 😭 Please backseat me suggestions 🙏 Happy to chat to any Bant experts out there. So excited to play the PT. 😍
