There are two lessons from the Bible that organize everything else for me: Walk the narrow road. Stay present to the divine. The narrow road means choosing what is true and right even when the easier path is more comfortable, popular, or immediately pleasurable. It is the path of courage, discipline, integrity, and spiritual growth. Staying present to the divine means remaining connected to God and fully present in this moment. Not trapped in regret. Not consumed by the future. Not separated from life by endless mental noise. Stay on the narrow road. Stay connected to God. Stay present to the moment. When you do those things, life begins to flow naturally. You stop forcing every outcome. You stop desperately trying to control everything. The next right action becomes clearer because you are no longer divided within yourself. You don’t have to make spirituality impossibly complicated. Choose the narrow road. Remain present with God. Then let everything else unfold from there.
