Dear Eric Gilmour, I am writing to express my deep frustration regarding the by-law amendment passed at last year's Green Party of Ontario Annual General Meeting. The clause stating that if members do not select a party-nominated facilitator, the meeting will be concluded is not only undemocratic but also a blatant attack on grassroots participation. You assured us a year ago that this issue would be addressed, yet no action has been taken. This failure to act is unacceptable and suggests that only your allies are permitted to lead these discussions, similar to the very behaviour we criticize in Doug Ford. It is crucial that we uphold democratic values and ensure all members can participate actively. I demand that you take immediate steps to rectify this situation. Thank you for your prompt attention to this urgent matter.
