I don’t know whether people twisted Jesus’s words and turned him into a conventional religious figure, or whether he was always deeply religious. But either way, I’m not interested in remaining trapped in that historical debate forever. The time has come to evolve. Let’s preserve the fire without requiring people to accept every supernatural claim. Let’s build a modern spiritual path grounded in joy, love, courage, service, responsibility, community, and direct experience. A path that gives people meaning without demanding blind belief. A path where questions are welcomed. A path where no leader owns your mind. A path that is tested by how you live, how you treat people, and who you become—not merely by which doctrines you repeat. Keep the devotion. Keep the moral courage. Keep the transformation. Release whatever baggage no longer serves humanity. You can be completely on fire for life without abandoning reason or reality.
