Why? 1. It violates His command to love enemies. A strike is an act of harm, not love. 2. It contradicts the spirit of His birth. Christmas celebrates God entering the world in vulnerability, not force. 3. It ignores His model of self-giving peace. Jesus never used violence to advance His mission, even when threatened. 4. It elevates national interest above divine command. If Jesus’ authority is supreme, no government can morally override Him.
