Why is socialism becoming more popular? Because millions of people have lost faith in their ability to create wealth. They’ve been taught how to work for money, spend money and complain about people who have money—but rarely how to build skills, create value, own assets or produce income beyond a paycheck. I understand that frustration because I didn’t always know how wealth worked either. When you believe your only options are working an ordinary job forever or getting extraordinarily lucky, redistribution starts sounding like your only path to security. But then I learned something that changed my entire economic worldview: Wealth can be learned. And once you experience the excitement of creating value, getting paid for it and using that money to create more freedom, you stop viewing wealth as a fixed pile that somebody else possesses. You begin seeing it as something human beings can create. That is the missing education. My answer to economic despair is not to shame struggling people or pretend every obstacle is imaginary. It is to give people more agency: teach them how money works, how businesses solve problems, how ownership compounds and how to become valuable enough that opportunities begin looking for them. People become attracted to systems of redistribution when they believe wealth creation is closed to them. I want to reopen that door. I’m here to teach people that they are not condemned to remain economically powerless. Once you learn how to create wealth—and discover that the process can be creative, meaningful and even fun—you no longer have to choose between poverty and resentment. You can participate. You can build. You can own. You can create value for other people and become wealthier because of it. That is the alternative I want to offer.
