Daily Thoughts #16 Well, I was wrong! Reanimator feels pretty good. I am now thinking it's even to slightly ahead against Cub. Fairly ahead against Lessons and Landfall, which in my mind makes it one of the best deck in the format. However, Bant Airbending also seems great. It's bad against Lessons, but ahead against the other green decks. Can't wait to be proven wrong again I always say this, but I think Landfall is just bad. It didn't get many new cards, and it's soft against both Bant and Reanimator. I predict it will do poorly this weekend. All these decks are incredibly hard to play and build. There is four days left to lock a deck (Tuesday and Wednesday basically don't count), and so much stuff to do. List of questions: - Is the Scam deck any good? Looks weak to Cub at first glance, would like to test that - Is UB Mid better than mid? (likely won't have time to find out, can any UB experts just tell me?) - Is Jeskai good? Specifically the Jeskai v Reanimator / Bant matchups - Is Esper Oculus playable? Kona? So many questions, so little time. I am having a blast though. If I were to submit a deck tomorrow, I'd play Bant. Or Reanimator. Or Lessons. Maybe Cub? Jeskai? Definitely not Landfall!
